This directorate is responsible for nursing care and housekeeping. The director is supported by three heads of sections (HoSs): Nursing services, CSSD and laundry, and nutrition and patients’ welfare. The directorate is responsible for the following functions: Formulating policies and regulations relating to nursing services and quality; Allocation of nurses and development plans; Coordination of nursing services and quality control guidelines; Implementation of policies and operational programmes; Monitoring and evaluating outcomes of nursing care; Developing and implementing nursing systems for care and services delivery; Facilitation and guiding Intramural Private Practice (IPPM); Assessment of nursing services rendered.
